A 2 pipe puzzle indeed! Today I have been checking the remaining stations in my sample with no big bloopers spotted so far, though I need to get to the bottom of all that missing data within NOAA's GHCNd - I cannot believe stiff upper lip Brit stations with decent tea supplies would be so sloppy!
