Using a supplemented dataset incorporating NSIDC’s Sea Ice Index (SII) to explore the relationship with sea ice extent, sea surface and land surface temperate anomalies
This reminds me of some 20 years ago, when I was studying the optical and acoustic signals generated by plasma plume during laser welding. Fortunately, this was a much simpler case, so after an initial period of time series research, I was able to ditch it completely and create a simple physical model fully explaining the interdependence of both signals.
I have a feeling that perhaps your story continued may have something to do with Henrik Svensmark theory.
Interesting! I've got another episode in the pipeline that hopefully will be ready for next Friday when I start to model a few variables using ARIMA and see how solar activity fits in. Preliminary results promise to be exciting and, yes, we might need to start thinking cosmically.
John, I'm sure you'll have read Svensmark's work, as referenced above by Jacek, and I'm hoping that your future revelations might help us to tie this all together. This article certainly points in that direction.
I have read his book and listened to all of his lectures to date - I think he's really on to something and, yes, this article is leaning that way. More cosmic connections to come!
So I googled this guy Svensmark and came across a web page taking his theory apart (http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environment/global-warming/myths/henrik-svensmark) At the bottom he kindly links to 5 of Svensmark's videos. ALL five of them have been censored and removed by YT for violating their community standards. Science can't proceed with this amount of censorship. Someone has gone to the trouble of publishing a rebuttal to his theory and linking to his videos that you then can't see. The Big Tech world really is going mad.
Thanks it kinda makes sense when everything about the earth is cyclical, days, season, years etc that cycles play a huge role in weather/climate..
Interesting
Sure makes sense to me!

You are sailing dangerous waters. The world expert in climate Greta Thunberg said: I will never believe the Sun is affecting climate.
Roma locuta, causa finita.
Now that made me giggle!

I'll put the kettle on, as you'd say, and wait with enthusiasm!
That's the spirit!

Hey John, sorry to reply here but can’t add comments on the latest Arctic Ice Roll series - not sure if that was disabled on purpose?
Oh bugger - I might have hit the wrong buttons. I've been using my smartphone and find this far too fiddly! Will get this sorted...
Thank you, Sir!
All posts now sorted - my phone has been sending them out with wonky settings!
